Partnering with her clients, using tools such as the Clear Thinking Method, Barbara guides session topics on how the brain and body react to stress, allowing change and healing.
One-on-one sessions, held either in her office or in an agreed upon location, her coaching begins with the first session: an information gathering, mutual agreement, and goal setting consultation. The frequency of sessions is determined on a case-by-case basis.
Similar to Private Sessions, however, the session fee is covered by the employer. These one-on-one sessions are confidential; the employer will not receive updates. Employers set the number of allowed sessions.
When employees are in their best state of mind, operating in little or no tension, they are able to make wise decisions, approach problems creatively and professionally even in stressful situations.
For larger audiences, presentations are tailored to the client’s specific message in mind, using guided visualization techniques to teach the audience how to mitigate their tension.
These are regularly scheduled classes at Barbara’s office that also allow for drop-in attendance. Each week, Barbara guides the class through different interactive Art Thinking tools from the Basic Book created by the Clear Thinking Counseling Alliance.
The Clear Thinking Counseling Alliance has developed guidelines for those who wish to be certified in the Clear Thinking Method. This is valuable training for anyone who works or volunteers in any type of mentor relationship, especially parents, teachers, faith leaders, and counselors.
